How do I prevent my helpdesk instance from creating spam tickets?
AssistFlow has a built in feature called "Email Blacklist". This is an additional layer of protection to help you fight against spam tickets in your Helpdesk. It works the same way as other traditional email blacklist services, except for that it's all integrated into your Helpdesk for easy management.
When you block an email address, our servers will attempt to validate the entry with each incoming email, If a blacklist entry is found, it will create a ticket but it will be added only in your SPAM Box.
Currently we have only one type of blacklist:
Email blacklist - Block a single email address, example [email protected].
To Blacklist Email address go to Admin Panel > Email > Black Lists Option. Click on Create Ban Email button on top right content window.
Provide the email address and select Active Option. You can also provide some internal note/comments so that other Administrators are made aware of the same.
